Erica’s formal career began at The George Washington University [CIDA Accredited] where she studied form and function, later receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design.
Her studies continued at The New Jersey Institute of Technology [NAAB Accredited], where she studied Architecture and Construction, later receiving a Masters of Architecture.
Since then, she has spent much of her time trying to better understand the nuances that lie between ourselves, our built environment, and our world. In other words, what makes a space amazing and unique?
Design is the search for a magical balance between art and business; […] playfulness and formality; client and designer.
— VALERIE PETTIS
As both a homeowner and business owner, Erica understands just how important the relationship between an owner and their house or business, truly is.
The energy behind either should be, without a doubt, that of a sanctuary — a place where one feels completely at home, but more than that, inspired to go out into the world, and do good.
